This is a small sampling of footage that was produced for Columbia River Knife and Tool. The treatment was a considered avenue toward their re-branding effort, specifically in regards to online, “lifestyle” video content. The shoot featured some of their now released, line of survival products in a harsh, outdoor scenario. At well below zero, the job was challenging but fun.
The music, The Lonesome Valley was performed and used with permission by Johan Eliasson (Bottleneck John)
The grade aimed to add to the remote, lonely feeling of the location and to make the cold day appear colder still. Although subtle, the corrections have an impact on the overall feel. You can watch the color comparison below.
